    Description

    This is an ORIGINAL UNISSUED EARLY VIETNAM ERA SLEEPING BAG CARRYING ASSEMBLY HARNESS DATED 61. The sleeping bag carrying assembly harness is made of an OD green webbing material and was used for either carrying the sleeping bag or for attaching it to the field pack. It has 4 straps with snaps (2 in the front and 2 in the back ) which wraps around the sleeping bag. It also has 4 wider  straps (2 with metal buckles & 2 without buckles) which fasten together to wrap around the sleeping bag. On the top there are 2 handles for carrying the sleeping bag. Stamped on one of the handles is US. Stamped on one of the wider pieces of webbing is CARRYING  STRAP,  ASSEMBLY,  SLEEPING BAG, 8465-647-0851.QM (CTM) 10220-E-61 and the  NUMBER 03 The Original Unissued  EARLY Vietnam Era Sleeping Bag Carrying Assembly Harness Dated 61 is in new condition.
