    GI Issue Military Sleeping Bag Cover - Mummy Style. From my father's estate, GI issue mummy style sleeping bag cover. He served in the Army Air Corp and Air Force from the 1940's to the 1970's. Material is olive drab light weight cotton canvas. Front closes with 10 snaps and closure is tighten with a cord lace through eyelets. There are no tags on the cover. Approximate measurement is 84"L x 30" wide. Measurements taken with cover lying flat and relaxed. Two light stains were noted, one on the front, one on the back. There is one small hole on the front of the cover which my mother temporarily patched and stitched. There are two "101" written on the cover, one on the head, other on the foot. These issues are noted in attached photos.
