    Description

    This is an ORIGINAL VIETNAM ERA 20 RD. OD NYLON SMALL ARMS AMMUNITION POUCH DATED 70. The small arms ammunition pouch was used for carrying 20 rd ammunition magazines the  ammunition pouch is made of nylon and measures approx.

    High and 2 1/4 inches wide. On the front it is stamped with US. On the top flap there is a plastic squeeze latch which goes through a plastic catch on the front to keep the top flap closed. On each side their are 2 canvas web loops and a nylon strap with a snap. One loop is holding the grenade handle. The other loop has a snap which fastens to the nylon strap to hold the grenades. Stamped on the inside top flap is the following information. CASE, AMMUNITION, 20 ROUND MAGAZINE, DSA 100-70-C-0317, 8405-935-6780. (Some of the printing is hard to read due to the type of print and the material it is printed on. On the bottom there is a metal grommet to allow water and moisture to drain to help keep the contents dry. On the back there are 2 belt clips for attaching the Small Arms Ammunition Pouch to the pistol belt, pack, harness, etc. The Vietnam Era Small Arms Ammunition Pouch is in used very good plus  to near new condition
