    Description

    Original Vietnam War era, US military issue 1964 Pattern M1 helmet liner, complete with suspension system and leather sweat band. The permanently attached OD canvas suspension system has signs of wear but no serious damage. Paper label is still affixed to the interior, and indicates 1973 contract date. I have checked for additional dates, but none are visible, although I am sure they can be found if the sweat band is removed/disassembled. Overall a great example of a Vietnam War period helmet liner to fit into your M1 steel pot.
