The
Shure BLX4R
is a single-channel wireless receiver compatible with the BLX1 bodypack transmitter and BLX2 handheld transmitters. It features a rugged metal chassis and, using the included hardware, can be rackmounted with the two removable antennas positioned on the front of the rack—for optimal signal reception in A/V installations and sound-reinforcement applications.
The BLX4R offers one-touch QuickScan frequency selection to quickly search 123 available frequencies and locate a clean RF channel in case of interference. It also employs microprocessor-controlled diversity technology to reduce dropouts. BLX systems allow up to 12 mic channels to operate simultaneously in each frequency band, at a range up to 300'.
The LCD display shows group and channel settings, and allows you to meter audio level and signal strength. An LED indicator even lets you keep an eye on the transmitter's remaining battery life. The unit offers 1/4" and XLR connectors with adjustable output level for flexible connectivity to PA systems and mixing boards.

Shure BLX2/PG58
is a handheld wireless microphone transmitter compatible with BLX Series receivers. It comes equipped with an integrated PG58 dynamic capsule optimized for vocals and speech. The capsule features a cardioid polar pattern that minimizes background noise and feedback. The built-in spherical wind and pop filter reduces plosives for clear and intelligible speech.
With a lightweight, ergonomic design, the BLX2/PG58 is comfortable to hold. It provides up to 14 hours of continuous use with the two included AA batteries, at a range up to 300'. Group and channel selection buttons allow for quick and simple frequency matching with the receiver.
Other features include an easily accessible on/off power button, adjustable gain control, and a black identification cap. The WA621 Color ID Caps kit containing assorted colored caps is available as an optional accessory.
