  • Condition: EMPTY CANS, they have all leaked out and have left a sticky substance on all the cans. All have scuffing and discoloration to the tins and possibly even some corrosion. There is a piece of the original cardboard box included too as shown in the pictures. These are being sold as display pieces, for tin can collectors, Man Cave or even as period correct war movie props.

    Vintage 1966 US Military Vietnam War Leather Dressing Vesicant Tin Can LOT of 15
    EMPTY CANS, they have all leaked out and have left a sticky substance on all the cans. All have scuffing and discoloration to the tins and possibly even some corrosion. There is a piece of the original cardboard box included too as shown in the pictures. These are being sold as display pieces, for tin can collectors, Man Cave or even as period correct war movie props.
    These were used to waterproof the leather boots and protect them from dangerous gases during combat.
    The tins are unused but due to long term storage the dressing has leaked out and got onto the tins.
    Numbers on the tins are: 8030 273  8719 and GS-10S-20988
    Packing date is 9/1966 or September 1966.
    I haven't tried to clean any can so I don't know what to use that could clean them up. They are being sold in as-seen, as-is condition as shown in the pictures.
