    Description

This sale features a 1977 .00 Federal Reserve Note with an MISSING PRINT ERROR in the GREEN PRINTING.
The Pictures shown are of the exact item you will receive.
This note from the 1977 series has light to moderate rounding and wear on all 4 corners.  There is a heavy vertical crease near the middle, along with lesser creases, folds, and wrinkling throughout.  There is a single pinhole visible when the bill is held up to light.  There are single notches beginning to form at the top and bottom of the heavy crease. The bill has no tears or missing pieces.
The most striking feature of this note is a total absence of the 3rd (green) printing.  The back of this “greenback” also is not traditional green, but rather an orange-ish tint.  Add in significant ink loss in the front quadrant to the right of center and various degrees of faded printing on all 4 front corners, and you have a bill which goes right along with this bizarre year that we have all endured.  As March 13 comes and goes, it seems fitting to celebrate the end of this challenging year with the acquisition of an old dollar bill whose printing also was challenging and unexpected!
The bill will be shipped FREE by USPS First Class Mail in a protective plastic sleeve, surrounded by cardboard for extra protection.
    Good Luck and happy bidding!
