VTG 1970 REMCO MIGHTY CASEY RIDE-ON TRAIN SET BATTERY-OPERATED, 10 TRACK OVAL

Selling a very nice late 1960s/ early 1970s vintage REMCO MIGHTY CASEY RIDE-ON TRAIN SET.
Includes everything pictured:
1) 8 curved tracks and 2 straight tracks in great condition. No broken tabs!
2) The famous Mighty Casey battery powered engine, with original and operational T-handle, removable seat, wooden foot pegs and battery cover. Battery and charger NOT included. Engine has not been tested so I can’t confirm if it works. The original decals are faded and there is a small piece of plastic missing where the T-handle is inserted ( see close up picture) but it does not hinder the operation of the handle in anyway.
3) Hard to find blue box car with working sliding door and red freight car, both with original decals
One of my earliest Christmas memories was getting and riding the Mighty Casey. Bought this at an estate sale and cleaned it up but don’t have any grandchildren yet so time to pass it on to the next collector. Item sold as is with no guarantee it will run.
Currently only making this available for local pickup. Located in Western Chicago Suburb. If strong interest at this price for non local I may relist in a week with a shipping quote but due to the large size and weight would prefer to sell locally.
